Features 

Lubrication: A polyethylene oxide base gives the preparation a smooth, gel-like consistency that clings to dental files and burs. 

Chelation: The EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) acts as a chelating or demineralizing agent. This softens the dentine in the canal walls, which helps remove the smear layer—a thin layer of debris that forms on dentin during instrumentation.

Chemical cleansing and debris removal: The carbamide peroxide creates an effervescent (bubbling) action when it reacts with sodium hypochlorite, a common endodontic irrigant. This release of oxygen lifts and flushes out organic debris, dentinal shavings, and necrotic tissue from the canal.
